Dreaming of a destination wedding with a difference?! We hear you, just take a look at this styled shoot taken in sun-kissed Marrakech. It really does have it all, floral arches, dramatic pampas grass, oversized straw hats and oh yes, baby goats!

Moroccan Styled Shoot at Villa Taj

The shoot was created at the exceptional Villa Taj Marrakech, complete with its large 25m pool, copious amounts of palm trees and simply divine outdoor spaces. Alongside its integrated events agency, the venue staged the entire creative set-up, a destination screaming out for creatives to exchange vows and celebrate as newly weds.

Captured by passionate photographer and videographer Mehdi Mounir, sit back, relax and take in the most trendy yet theatrical approach to styling your wedding abroad, this collection is sure to have you smiling…

Rose Ceremony

The wedding ceremony was set-up under the centennial olive grove of Villa Taj, providing dramatic height and protection from the direct sun. A white aisle catwalk centred the way, lined with napoleon transparent chairs either side, each aisle chair was dressed with a vibrant rose and a cluster of authentic olive tree branches.

Every wedding aisle needs a focal point and wow, did this shoot have one! 3000 fresh Moroccan roses in the most gorgeous bright orange and yellow tones adorned the giant full circular arch. Not forgetting, the most fun element, a central rose embellished swing. The creative shots, this incredible structure allowed for are just phenomenal.

Boho Lunch

Moroccan style is know for its bohemian decor, so when it came to dressing the wedding lunch it was Boho-Chic through and through. Towering pampas clouds, rustic wooden benches, all within eye distance of the very inviting outdoor pool. The lunch was greeted with some very cute VIP guests in the form of baby goats, what bride wouldn’t want to cuddle a baby goat on their special day?!

Dinner Banquet

‘Red is the new white’ was the inspiration for the evening dining set-up, positioned in the villa’s covered terrace the large banquet table was dramatically dressed with 1000 fresh, vibrant roses featuring garlands falling from table to floor.

A shoot with an exciting step forward in wedding styling, we love the fact pastel hues were thrown out and replaced with energetic boosts of strong colour, the statement decor dominated resulting in a chic wedding fantasy at one of the worlds most intriguing avant-garde villa’s. Picturing the true Moroccan wedding dream, this has to be by far one of our favourite styled shoots we’ve come across to date!
